17 Winchester Super Mag & Savage BMAG - Prairie Dog Hunt Report

After my first write-up and video on the new .17 Winchester Super Magnum and the Savage B.MAG rifle (http://www.varminter.com/articles), I decided to head to Northern Arizona to test the rifle/ammo combo on Prairie Dogs! The longer range and numerous shot opportunities, really helped me put the Savage B.MAG and the .17 Winchester Super Mag ammo to the test. Needless to say, I had a blast! The rifle performed well and the ammunition was devastating on the smaller varmints, as you will see! I am using the Burris Fullfield II -- 4.5 -- 14 x 42mm Scope on the Savage B.MAG.
