Review and shoot in the 1887 shotgun probably the funnest shotgun I’ve ever shot, it’s the fastest shotgun I’ve ever shot that uses a lever to operate it, it holds five in the tube magazine one in the receiver and one in the chamber for seven total shots, Since it’s a lever action you don’t have to move it from your shoulder or loose point of aim while shooting, it function properly out of the box as far as speed and function although I did have to redo how the trigger was in order to make it safer, but was a lot smoother after I read rework and polished internal parts and read finish the outside of the receiver, I would highly recommend one if you enjoy lever actions, and you know how to do a little gun smithing, but it should be considered a starter kit but with a little work you can make it into a really find shotgun, it’s a reproduction made in China.
