A Very Clear Reminder That Stun Guns Are Not Good For Self Defense | Active Self Protection
Stun guns are not good defensive tools. Many people use the words "stun gun" and TASER interchangeably, but they are NOT interchangeable terms. Stun guns use electrical current to cause pain over a 1-2" area; the TASER uses barbs to create a path over 12" for neuromuscular incapacitation and overrides control of muscles. Stun guns are not good defensive tools and this shows a good example of why.
