Here is the Beretta M418, our first in a line of Beretta handguns we will be looking at. We will start with small caliber 6.35x15mmSR (.25 ACP) and work our way larger through .32 ACP and .380 ACP all the way to 9mm parabellum.

Produced from the early 20's to the mid 5-0's this pocket pistol had a nice long run. This example is the last in a line of various versions available through the years.

It's claim to fame is that it was the original "James Bond gun" in the Ian Fleming novels before being replaced by his infamous Walther. Fleming was very specific in describing how Bond set it up.....grip panels removed (skeletonized), taped over grip to eliminate the grip safety, threaded barrel for silencer.....

Berettas have a very interesting "vibe" to them and they shoot accurately and reliably...I'm going to enjoy this series of videos.....stay tuned.
