C.I.L. Anschutz Model 180

CIL 180 rifles were made under contract by Anschutz for importation into Canada by Canadian industries ltd (CIL). The 180 was designed especially to conform with the Canadian Sporting Rifle Program which was sponsored by CIL. The rifle was based on the standard Anschutz action with the stock being made to resemble a standard rifle stock, the weight was made to conform with the 7.5lb. sporting rifle weight rule. In the 1960's the 180 retailed for about Can. $75.00.
