Can't Make This Up!

On May 15, the California Department of Justice (DOJ) submitted draft regulations on "Assault Weapons" to the Office of Administrative Law (OAL). The regulations were submitted as "file and print only" and DOJ has refused to release the text.

This is similar to the last time DOJ submitted regulations on "assault weapons" before they were abruptly withdrawn after the NRA and CRPA attorneys submitted a pre-litigation demand letter.
