Camino Del Cerro Hike

Hiking the Camino Del Cerro Trail in the Tucson Saguaro National Park West. This park is located in the Tucson Mountains. Eaglewatcher and I discover an ole mining cave and then ascend up a 700 ft hill by bush-whacking through ocotillo, cacti saguaros, loose rocks and wind to see a grande vista view of the Tucson basin and upper Sonoran desert.

There we can see all the great sky island mountains that surround Tucson, the Tortillita, Catalina, Mt. Lemon, Rincon and the Santa Rita mountain ranges.

On the way down and leaving the trail, we caught a spectacular sunset typical of winter days.
