When hunting with small children that are too young to get out and stalk deer, the only other option is to hunt from a blind. In this video I go over the basic design of my deer blind with kids in mind. I purposely placed the deer feeder at about 60 yards with the thought in mind that some of the other older children that hunt with us will soon harvest their first deer. Being closer than 100 yards should help them take a deer with the odds of a cleaner kill.
