Dillon RL550B, 223/5.56, Video 45, CH4D Swage Tool, No Fit to Case Gage Not an Issue

From my experience, once you have properly re-sized and de-primed the cartridge case and you have proper fit into the case gauge, if you swage the case after that and the rim won't quite settle fully into the max-chamber/min-chamber of the case gauge it does not appear to be a problem if you can simply push the case into place. This is assuming the rim is not grossly bent. If you are over swaging the case you may find that it is an issue. I found that as long as you are swaging without excess and the primers are seating smoothly and you can settle the rim into the case gauge for proper fit, the case should function just fine in your rifle. I am not promoting this case as a high accuracy round and understandably so. Instead, I am just stating that they seem to function just fine. God bless and thanks for watching. Highboy
