FULL STORY - Rusk ISD in TX - Very Unfair Policy To Graduating 4H Members

Special thanks to Neal Barton and reporter Caroline Hicks on bringing our struggle to the public. These old rules have got to change, they were adopted long before 4H was a driving force in our county. We need your help to pressure the Rusk ISD here in Texas to review and change their policy to meet the interest of the kids it is supposed to look out for, educate, serve and nurture. This is the most ridiculous battle over the most insignificant thing to a school district that we could ever imagine. It should be a non brainer, instant policy change. We stand on the side of our kids, their accomplishments and their development into great productive citizens of our future. The school district stands behind old out dated policies of years gone by, Where do you stand? Which is more noble? Which is a graduation truly about? Please, if there is any way you can help us out with this get in contact with the 4H program in Cherokee County, even if it is something as simple and voicing a complaint with the administration of this school district.
