Are you researching your next purchase for a long-range precision rifle? Maybe that rifle you have just sitting in the back of your safe may better suit your precision needs. Sure there are many options out there and proven rifles that perform, but have you seen today's price tags for those precision rifles that have those features? Bedding, adjustable cheek rest, adjustable Length of pull, threaded 24" barrel etc... All of those features can be added to your existing rifle for a lot less. That old Deer Rifle may have more aftermarket parts than that "New" Precision rifle that just came out. More than likely after some upgrades you'll have a custom setup that is far better and more precise than those commercial precision rifles. Don't buy into those catchy sale's terminology. Let's see what really makes a difference and compare cost. I'm going to take this budget $180 Mossberg 100ATR and turn it into a precision long-range rifle.
