Homemade Reactive Resettable Steel Plate Rimfire Shooting Target - Youth Shooting Spots Range
This is a just a quick video showing off the little steel race plate target we built for our Texas 4-H youth shooting sports rifle kids to play with.This could be used with either .22 LR pistols or rifles. This would be a great addition to any gun range. It is made of regular mild steel and so far has held up well. Since this video an extra strip of metal was added behind the angle to aid it keeping the steel plates at the proper angle. Also, we drilled homes in the back lets so that steel rebar could be used as extra security. The target sometimes will move while being reset and the rebar eliminates that issue. The plates measure 3' x 3". This is a very nice target to practice your speed while shooting. A special thanks to those that donated the materials to make it happen.
