In this video, I will address how important is to have retention of your firearm. We have to keep in mind that when facing a possible threat there is always going to be at least one firearm (The one you are carrying). Therefore, there is always the potential for a criminal to grab your firearm and attempt to use deadly force against you and others. Definitely, utilizing techniques such as situational awareness can be very beneficial in most of the cases. Essentially, we want to identify the threat and walk away before facing it. Other tactics can include using your elbows to retain your gun and stand sideway with your firearm facing away from the criminal. Thanks so much for watching!
