IWI Baby Desert Eagle II Range Day Recap

Took a trip to Gander Mountains indoor Range in Lake Mary Fl to put some rounds through the BDE II 9mm.

It performed quite well with the exception of 6 "Hard Primer" failures I occurred out of 200 shots. The Ammo (TulAmmo) may be to blame, but this particular platform is the only one in my collection to respond this way to it. So blaming the ammo is a little premature in my experience, but the consensus thus far says it is the ammo. Only time and more testing will determine if this is indeed the case.

I hope to do more vids like this one with added footage from the range.

The GM range experience is one of the best I have had to date. The Range was extremely clean (Got there at opening) and the setup is outstanding. The high tech setup gives a feel of quality and also makes the experience more enjoyable. The lanes feel extremely private and the way the range is setup also gives a sense of increased security from accident or negligence from other lanes. Though I am not sure it is safer, but it feels like it is.
