Love this "Short Rifle" version of the Swedish Mauser......not allowed to call it a carbine because the Swedish didn't. Not that much shorter than the Long Rifle but what a difference in the feel. It handles much better and accuracy is not affected much. Sure it has a shorter sight radius but the feel and "shootability" is so on the mark that it makes up for it. Should have watched my video on the Long Rifle to avoid repeating myself, but I didn't, so I apologize in advance it I was repetitive.

These are one of my favorite shooters and they remain affordable and plentiful and can be found in remarkable shape for their age. Also, accessories like bayonets and slings are very cheap for these rifles. Enjoy!
