In General
In our 10th gun wall installment we take a look at one of the most legendary auto loading pistols ever made, the Magnum Research Desert Eagle Mark XIX! This particular version is chambered in 50AE with a 10-Inch Barrel. Talk about knock down power. I didn't have time to to shoot targets to demonstrate its power but I plan to revisit this pistol.

rotating bolt, gas piston. not "delayed blowback". The DE in .357 Mag shares the same frame & slide with the .44 Mag and .50AE. for the .357 Mag, you change the barrel (obviously) and the bolt (unique to the DE .357) and the magazine. The magazines are specific to each caliber, and the mag for the .357 fits into the magwell of the frame same as the mags for the .44 Mag and .50AE. As you know, the .50AE and .44 Mag share the same bolt. That's a beautiful 10" barreled rig, nice proportions. Magnum Research (Minnesota) is no longer manufacturing the 10" barrel anymore (2019). Currently, Israel Weapons Industries manufactures the DE only in 6" basic black. MRI does black, stainless and all the other color combos.
