Although Lyman quit production of this handy percussion shooters tool a few years back, a little bit of creativity has brought a new solution to the market. We demonstrate how with an aluminum soda can and some roll caps we can keep shooting through the component shortage of 2014.

Modern caps are a lot less effective/powerful than the ones we had when we were young. I think its probably worthwhile to just get the raw materials to make your own priming mix and then you can have some satisfactory fill & be independent of any govt bans on imported caps [since they're ALL imported now, that would be a great way to control the BP shooters' supplies of perc caps, wouldn't it?]
