While being the dude that clears the firing line at a range with an aggressively muzzle brake'd gun is sometimes unavoidable (and kind of funny), it's also not super cool to nail people with concussive shock waves intentionally. What's to be done about mitigating the side effects of a muzzle brake - both for anyone unfortunate enough to be caught next to you and in terms of the debris such muzzle devices often kick up?
