Reloading 7.7x58 JAP Ammo -Type 99 Arisaka - Japanese Surplus Bolt Action C&R Rifle

The Arisaka round 7.7x58 Japanese. Similar to Very similar to 30-06 but not quite. A little shorter on the case, and .311 diameter projectile are some of the serious differences. Another thing I noticed is the recoil is much softer than the 30-06, and get about the same performance. In my opinion 7.7x58 Jap is the more superior round.
