Replacing the Full-Length Guide Rod on a Springfield Armory TRP Operator Tactical 1911 #584
We decided to replace the Factory One Piece Full Length Guide Rod with a USGI Spring Guide. We decided to do this for many reasons, one of them being ease of Field Stripping without the need of a special tool, in this case it's just a Paper Clip, but with the USGI Spring Guide, the pistol is much easier to Field Strip.
