I was hesitant to say anything but here goes. I first want to commend you on your bullet groups. That is some outstanding shooting for a striker fired pistol. Now comes the rub. First you got a pistol that first hit the market and this was SIG's first striker fired pistol so it was bound to have problems and you should have waited about a year before getting one when the teething pains were all ironed out. That was your fault. Second if you do not get your thumbs down off the slide you will continue to slow the slide down and have feeding problems. Again that is your fault. Not the pistol. SIG installed a stronger recoil spring to compensate for those shooters that like to ride the slide. They did not have to do that when its shooter error. If you continue to ride the slide with your thumbs and have slide stoppages then it can get you killed in a gunfight. Change your grip. Thumb over thumb down on the grip and hold the pistol tighter to get control. Do not use your thumbs forward to put pressure on the frame where you can get those thumbs up on the slide.

You would not shoot a revolver with thumbs high forward so don't shoot an autoloader that way either. Shoot one handed and then use the support hand for support only to the shooting hand.
