Shooting :: Glock 23 / Storm Lake barrel / Remington 597

In General

I went out shooting this last weekend with some friends and family. I was lucky enough to find some ammo for my Remington 597, so I took it out with me. I'll tell you one thing the .22 caliber is officially an endangered species, it is not easy to find. Along with my Remington 597 a friend brought his out as well that has the Archangel stock on it. Both were using your standard capacity, 30 round magazines. I had zero issues with mine and my friend only had a couple hiccups. We also brought my Glock 23 and the Storm Lake conversion barrel. The factory Glock shot great, the sites were a little off at first but I think I figured it out. We ran the Storm Lake conversion barrel in conjunction with the KCI Glock 19 magazines. I noticed with my KCI magazines that I couldn't fully load them, if I did I couldn't actuate the slide. Once I lowered the round count I had zero malfunctions. All in all I had a great time shooting and I'll be uploading another video here shortly. Thanks for watching.
