Short Barrels: 9mm VS .38 Special Ep.1- Philosophy and FMJ Ammo Test

In General

First in a video series where I pit the 9mm against the .38 Special and .38 Special+P while both cartridges are fired from short barrels. The 9mm test gun is a Diamondback DB9 with a 3.00" barrel, and the .38 Special test gun is a S&W 342PD with a 1.875" barrel. Both handguns weigh about the same as well. Special thanks to Ken S. for donating the Diamondback DB9 to my channel. Always appreciative of any channel help :) https://www.paypal.me/gunsamrevolver

Well it would be interesting to see how a Smith 986 (or even a Taurus 905) stacks up against that Smith 340 or 442. Revolvers on revolvers with 9mm and .38 Sp. Revolvers tend to be more accurate than autoloaders. This would be a more equal comparison of short barrels.

This was meant to be more of an auto VS revolver type of thing, but a short barrel pistol is more common than a snub nose revolver in 9mm. It would be interesting to find data already published between 9mm 3" pistols and 9mm 2" revolvers.
