In Florida we have a high humidity and high heat problem. So going from room temperature into heat you get more expansion. Winter is the opposite with more contraction. Sealing in military steel ammo cans work best and trying to keep ammo in cool shaded places like storage units. Temperature swings are not so bad. But for carry ammo going from temp. change to temp. change regularly add the humidity, the ammo should be changed out with fresh ammo from time to time. Shoot the old stuff, load fresh stuff. Yes vacuum seal is the best so long as no holes in the bags or bags are not compromised. But not everybody has a vacuum sealer. I store my reload components the same way. In sealed military ammo cans inside a storage unit. Other than a storage unit, some ammo can be kept in the house or shed and in the vehicle(s). Some ammo can be stored in buried ammo caches. Reloading gear can also be somewhere else like at a relative's house. Lots of options. Thanks for sharing.
