Wadcutters! In a world of High BC Bullets, Do They Still Have a Place!?

In General

A relatively short video about making powder coated wadcutter bullets in the 38 special and 357 magnum. At the end I do shoot some previously loaded 158 gr semi-wadcutters as well as the full wadcutter bullets. It is surprising to me how well a cylinder shaped bullet will shoot at closer ranges. I love the NOE bullet molds, just wish all of mine had 5 cavities. This mold, in particular, is a 3 cavity and casts 3 different lengths of wadcutter bullets. Takes a bit longer to cast a bunch of them, but it is fun having 3 different sizes in one mold.

Equipment Used:

RCBS Pro-melt
NOEbulletmolds.com wadcutter bullet mold
Powderbuythepound.com powder coat powder
Lee classic cast press (for sizing bullets)
Lee push through sizing die
Bucket of water for quenching bullets
Toaster Oven to bake the powder coat
S&W Airweight revolver 38 spl
Ruger GP100 match champion revolver (one of my fav's)
Action Target dueling tree
Action Target hostage torso
