Most stock (mass-produced) 1911s have a terrible fit and finish. In this video, I show you how to smooth out the rear of the slide so that you don't cut your hands or snag your clothing.
This process is what a custom 1911 makes does to give a nice finish to the firearm. Now you can get the same results on either you stock gun or your custom 1911 that you may be building.
