I use IMR 4198 for both .222 and .223. You can get jaw dropping performance out of that 700 .222 if you use 55gr. Nosler Ballistic Tip boat tails. Hornadys are okay but Noslers are better. This is what my Rem. 700 .222 likes the most. If I am not consistently shooting well under an inch with that rifle then I am doing something wrong with my shooting or loads. If you put the rifle in a rifle rest like a Benchmaster you can get it to shoot through the same hole consistently with the 55gr. Nosler BT boat tails at 100 yards. Its a Mike Walker precision bench shooting rifle. Thanks for sharing.
