.357 mag carbine gel test: Speer 158 gr JSP over 13.0 gr AA9 from carbine

Speer 158 gr JSP over 13.0 gr AA9 fired from Rossi M92 carbine into calibrated 10% gelatin.

BB: 584.5 fps, 4.7"

Impact velocity: 1,618 fps
Penetration: 22.6"
Retained weight: 127.8 gr
Max expansion: 0.508"
Min expansion: 0.453"

I also tested this load from the revolver but the shot exited the block. Penetration was greater than 23" and velocity from the 4" Model 13 was 1,002 fps. I intend to increase the powder charge and test this projectile again at a higher velocity.
