Nice pistol. Some folks don’t like Taurus, I have three and they are all great especially the revolvers.

I've owned two 605's, a couple TCP's, a 709 Slim, a PT111 G2, a Tracker.44, a Raging Bull .454, and this Model .44.....and they were all dead nuts reliable and a great value. (Just my personal experience)

I have a TCP that I had an issue with and Taurus took care of quickly, still under the lifetime warranty. I also have a model 66 (357 Magnum) I bought brand spanking new as my first home defense weapon back in 1984. I have put thousands of rounds through it and it still looks and functions as it did the day I bought it. I just recently bought a model 85 stainless 38 special for my wife as an EDC weapon. Awesome little pistol.

@NC Gun Guy : Well....the first TCP I owned I bought used. It was an "A" suffix serial number, and there were a problem or two with the early ones....which can happen with S&W, Ruger, etc... Sometimes the trigger being pulled all the way to the rear wouldn't fire the gun... a real problem. I actually stripped the frame down and figured it out. Fixed it myself and it ran 100% after that. The newer one i owned was a "D" suffix and it was flawless. Not bad for under $200 new!

Agreed, anc unlike the Ruger lcp it is copied after. The slide locks open after last round.
