45 Cowboy Special with a 230gr 45 ACP Bullet with Hodgdon HP38.
WARNING!!!! Pressure in the 45 ACP is far greater than that of a 45 Colt gun. It's not good to use 45 ACP data cartridges to be used in 45 Colt guns.
45 ACP max pressure is 21,000 PSI.
45 Colt max pressure is 14,000 PSI.
I'm using a low charge for 45 ACP, which is below the 14,000 PSI for 45 Colt guns.
If you're unsure how to reload these safely, I recommend not reloading these rounds and sticking with reloading 45 Colt to be safe.
