AR-15, 223 Rem. Reloading Series, Video 61, Reassembly and Lubricating the Bolt Assembly

Typically you want to avoid applying tooling to your firearms. However, in this series there is a multitude of people who cannot master the hand strength to perform certain tasks. Therefore, if the individual chooses to use tooling on the firearm do it being delicate and apply finesse. My method of using channel locks in this video is only an alternative for those who cannot perform the task by hand and make certain to not allow the tooling to make direct contact with the bolt/extractor.
