I hear talk all the time about how Anderson lowers are cheap and not any good but I don't really see any evidence of that. This video addresses that topic and makes some comparisons to other brands.

Totally agree, in most cases your paying for a name or logo. I can’t tell you how many I’ve built over the years for myself or helping friends. Anderson lowers were used 90 % of the time and never had issue with any of them. I did on some others during the build process anyway. If another was used it was because of the logo. Like you said mil spec is mil spec. It is actually a minimum standard things have to meet. I was in the military and now my civilian job has me working a lot with military and govt. contracting officers/ agents. Let me tell you, Mil spec means “the highest quality at the lowest price” it doesn’t mean the best, it means the best for the money.
