Berreta Birgade 92 Review/Thoughts

Good video. The loop on the bottom of the grip is for a lanyard not a sling, Lol. Yours looks good. First one I’ve seen in stainless. The 92FS is the civilian version of the military M9. The original was the 92S which had the European mag release on the bottom of the grip. To be eligible for consideration for the replacement contract. The military wanted it on the side similar to the 1911 it was going to replace. It was not designed for CCW carry it was for police and military. The standard mag release is close to the frame as you say. This is to prevent you from accidentally pushing it and dropping the mag during use. You have to turn your hand slightly on the pistol to change mags. Remember in the military a pistol is a backup weapon you use to get you to a rifle. I didn’t like the change from the 1911 to the M9 but it fit my hand great and I was very proficient with one. After all these years I still don’t like the looks of them and probably would never buy one because of that unless I got a great deal. I can’t stand the barrel sticking out past the end of the slide, just me. The stainless though looks good. It is a Barreta very well made and they run great.
