I think the look is attractive to sell a military weapon to Americans for use as a combat weapon. The logistics involved work against it being distributed in sufficient volume to be seen as success in achieving a marked reduction in number of the enemy. That and the greedy spoiled nature of Americans makes the .22 a hard sell. They would prefer not to have any gun. While demanding larger ones than they can weild.
The HighTower makes the best P90-style bullpup kit for the 10/22 by a long shot. It's solidly built and well engineered. All the others, and I've tried them all, are plastic junk that won't hold up in the field. When you get done with the High Tower kit you will have an actual firearm that you can use like you'd use the same way you'd use any 10/22, and not a range toy that just looks cool, but that breaks the first time you drop it..
Usually when i do a deep clean on my 10/22 i take apart the trigger pack...
$270. bucks!? I'm still not sure, Doing the Original TAOFLEDERMAUS 10/22 P90 using a Air Soft P90 for $40 bucks from ebay Still seems more Easy than this deal with all the bells & whistles. Yes you have to make a few parts But is less confusing cos you Know you are starting from scratch
