On HBO's The Real Time with Bill Maher (06/07/2019), Bill Maher tells the panel that liberals should learn more about guns. He begins the discussion mentioning that half the voters think Democrats are trying to take away peoples' guns.

Clint Watts suggests required gun insurance (and thus registration) to own a firearm. Charles Low believes stopping some gun deaths (homicides and suicides) is the priority regardless of the civil liberties lost in the process. California congresswoman Katie Porter introduces a straw man argument and thinks that maybe someone should take away Bill's guns.
