Can it still expand? .45 Auto Federal 230gr HST Short Barrel Gel Test

.45 Auto is short, fat, and slow. Shooting it out of a short barrel, doesn't help much. Can it still expand when the deck is stacked against it? We shoot .45 Auto 230gr HST from a Springfield Armory XDS 45 into clear ballistics clear gel to assess penetration, expansion, and retained weight.
