Smith and Wesson makes some fine guns, but there is quite a variance in what they consider "Within Specs" and appropriate for sale. I have had newer S&W products I have been completely satisfied with and others I have been quite disgusted with, and I am not the only one who has had that experience or has been less than thrilled with their customer service.
