Colorado, Over The Counter Bull Elk | Aaron Gould

Putting a harvest tag on a bull elk is a dream for many of us hunters. I finally realized that dream this year after going to Colorado and buying an over the counter 2nd season rifle tag. The first five days were long strenuous days with no elk sightings, but that all changed on day six. The scream of a bull, the soft chirps from cows and calves on the mountainside has me yearning for my next trip to the mountains in pursuit of elk.
