Constitutional Malpractice.

The Ep103 Opener of Gun Freedom Radio:
The terrible murders of innocent people on a high school campus in FL have ignited a flame in this country. That flame is fueled by grief and anger"¦and let's just say it"¦politics.

In the firestorm, the usually clear distinctions between those who value our Constitutional Liberties and those who do not has become blurred with the smoke of compromise and the acrid smell of opportunistic political maneuvers.
When sick, evil, or deranged people inflict their sick, evil and deranged plans on our fellow citizens and our nation's children we are all thrown into shock, horror, and grief. When those evil plans include guns, the conversation immediately focuses on the tool used in the crimes and the usual suspects run to get in front of the nearest microphone to tell us how the world would be a better place if it just weren't for these darn guns. Their messages are: ban this, limit that, trample the Constitution and we all will live in a better place.

As I watch and listen to the calculated political rhetoric that is heartbreakingly and misleadingly channeling the passions of traumatized people who understandably just want to stop hurting and grieving, all I can think of is Malpractice. It's like a person who has a terrible pain somewhere in their body and goes to the doctor demanding chemotherapy. The doctor says, wait, let's do some tests, let's find out if chemotherapy will even work on what is ailing you "“ but the patient screams louder that the Dr MUST do chemotherapy immediately to stop the pain. The Dr attempts to explain that chemotherapy will weaken and damage the entire body, and maybe even allow what is causing the pain to grow even stronger and more painful. A better course of action would be to have a more accurate and targeted diagnosis and treatment plan "“ but the patient will not hear of waiting for answers "“ the patient demands that the Dr. JUST DO CHEMOTHERAPY!

If that Dr. complies"¦if that Dr. follows what the patient wants rather than what his training and wisdom has taught him or her"¦we would call that malpractice. Yet, malpractice is exactly what many in our country are demanding our Lawmakers commit by writing laws that weaken and wither the entire body, while doing nothing to stop the malignancy of sickness and evil that causes people to inflict harm on one another. - Cheryl Todd
