The Gold Dot is a tough and reliable bullet. It has demonstrated the ability to expand at low velocity and heavy clothing time and time again. If anything can make it fail, perhaps an extra long barrel and crazy fast speed can make it fragment. We fire 10mm Underwood 165gr Gold Dot from a TNW Aero Survival Pistol with 10.25" barrel to assess penetration, expansion, and fragmentation in the context of defensive use.
