DIY Sweetened Condensed Milk

In this video I make home made sweetened condensed milk. All you need is Milk, Sugar, Salted Butter and Vanilla extract. Whisk together mikl and sugar in a medium saucepan over medium-low heat. Bring to a low simmer while stiring or whisking often. Should take about 30 minutes to reduce to half. Remove from heat and stir in butter and vanilla extract. Allow to cool completely and store in a container or mason jar in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.

**Recipe**
*2 cups of whole milk
*3/4 cup of sugar (use only 1/2 cup if your not into super sweet)
*4 tablesoons salted butter
*1 teaspoon vanilla extract
You can substatue the sugar with honey or other sweeteners.
Low fat milk or other milk type substatues can be used in place of the regular whole milk as well.
