Electronic Ear Protection Comparison (Looonnngg Version)

In General

The 'short' version of this video - https://youtu.be/i2M0Z4zZXro

There are a lot of electronic ear muffs out there, and here are my thoughts on a handful of them (plus some additional ramblings.) Basically they all work, and they all essentially do the same thing, but some are better than others for a few reasons. Watch the video to find out my thoughts on all of the ones that I own.

Wearing hearing protection is important for obvious reasons, and having them be electronic ear muffs is good for a lot of reasons. At a baseline, they'll allow you to be aware of your surroundings (and sometimes even increase your ability to hear things around you) while also protecting your ears from the loud, potentially damaging sounds of gunfire.
