When you think of the Athlon Argos most people think of it as an entry level scope for long range shooting. You here things like it can't handle recoil and it's glass is sub par. None of that is true. I do serious long range and even extreme long range shooting with the Athlon Argos btr ffp 6-24x50 the glass is good quality HD glass and it has had zero issues handling the recoil of my Tikka t3x in 300winmag with no muzzle break shooting a very stout charge behind a heavy 208gn hornady eld match bullet. This was a 3rd round impact. Balloons on the target pop on impact.
