Family Karma Quid Pro Quo

Families do not and should not have karma or quid pro quo. There’s no amount of good deeds someone can do for you that has the power to put duct tape on your mouth and silence you so that you’re not allowed to speak up in defense for yourself when your family members abuse you and belittle you in some way. You are a human being and you always have the right to speak up in your own defense when somebody hurts you. What hurts you is subjective and that is the only subjective truth that really is a truth. When someone does hurt you, they hurt you.

From a legal perspective you can’t really stop them from hurting you, but from a social perspective you always have the right to speak up for yourself and for your feelings and for what is or is not hurting you.

The problem with humanity is that it’s not right to compel speech or to compel opinions and belief. From a legal and social perspective we can’t force anyone to have any opinion or any feelings, we have to let people have their own opinions even if they disagree with us even if you don’t like it.

But you have the right to speak for yourself, your perspective. And the problem with humanity is that we can’t always make that reconciliation happen. We can always bridge that gap or cross that divide even though we wish we could.

But there is someone who can, and that’s Jesus Christ, God the Father, and the Holy Spirit. That’s God. If anyone can bring peace and healing and reunite people it’s God.
