When the birds are flying you had better have brought lots of ammo. This one particular trip to South Texas for our yearly dove hunt turned out to be a great one. The Dove were flying like we had not seen in a long time. The only issue we had was the wind kicked up and gave them an incredible tail wind that made them very difficult to hit on the wing. I tried to hold back and only shoot at the ones flying into the wind but the temptation of seeing so many birds was too great and I found myself busting caps at the ones moving with the wind. I dang near ran out of ammo for the hunt. In the end I shot my limit and had some great memories to boot. Please enjoy some of the many minutes of footage I recorded of the hunt and compiled it into an action packed summary.
