While fishing in the Auke Bay just outside of Juneau Alaska, we took a break for a our guide to cut up some meat scraps to feed the local population of bald eagles that hang out in the area. At one point, an eagle swooped by the boat so close that his wing touched the ear of our fishing guide. Another eagle almost hit the head of my son. Unfortunately I was distracted by seeing these rarely seen birds (in my home state of Texas) and forgot to turn on the GoPro mounted near the stern of the boat. As a reminder to all the other self filming youtubers, run those cameras all the time. You never know what you will miss.
