I like to spin roll pins in a drill against a metal file. I use channel locks to compress the pin and it will slide right in! :)

Same way I do it, wrap the jaws of the channel locks with electrical tape and you won’t scratch nothing. Far better than beating it in.

I do the same with the bolt catch pin as well.

@NC Gun Guy : I was considering doing that but when I Filmed the video I did not have a vise. Im Trying to gear this Video Series to people that do not have all the tools but still can build this type of Rifle at the Table lol!!!!
