It is pretty obvious that the UPS driver was not armed and carrying. Big mistake for a driver not to be able to defend his life from criminals just like this. I was always armed and carried when I drove for a company. Will be doing it again soon whether the employer likes it or not. Its my life, not the employer's. In this day and age drivers cannot afford not to carry regardless of their company and this proves it.

I guess what I am trying to say is I don't blame the LEOs for doing their job but I do blame the driver for not defending his life preventing the hijack of his truck before all this went down.

@RobertM: It should not have ended the way it did had the driver been armed and carrying to prevent the hijack of his truck even if that means a gunfight with the criminals.

I would love to see more videos like this. Yes this is very sad that people make bad choices and then drag innocent people into their crime and it gets worse real fast. My guess would be they rushed in to try to prevent them from running to another vehicle or maybe them splitting up and having a gun battle that is as large as a football field. But these are just guesses on my part. My Grandfather was a police officer and Aunt was a sheriff's deputy both in Florida and it's not an easy job and every situation is different. You never know what the day will bring! Let's keep in mind that it is easy to after the fact say things like they should or they could have. Police are just people and we all hope they have state of the art training and things like this never happen. Like all of us I'm sorry that innocent people and their families have suffered in this criminal act that started as a robbery.
