GCR Rust Prevention Test 2

We started with steel masonry nails, sanded them clean and treated them
with 13 different brands of gun lubricatants, oils and protectants. The
whole batch (including a control nail) was lightly heated in the oven
and then sprayed with tap water daily to see which brand would protect
from rust the best. It took almost a month to be sure of a winner.
