Mentioned I'd be doing this in the truck video I posted yesterday, so here it is. There isn't much 'use' of the gear, more or less just a 10 mile walk. Testing the use of my gear in a simulated SHTF scenario. Just some random clips from my 'Get Home' trip from today. It was about 10 miles and about 1,400' of elevation gain. Did this with my actual get home bag and old shoes from my truck, nothing altered, added, or removed - just raw, actual use of my gear.

Took just under 3 hours, and everything went fine. I did the whole thing wearing my normal Appendix IWB (AIWB) setup with my G19, spare 17rd mag, and knife. Mostly did this just to see how my old shoes, body, pack, etc would hold up. Also to see how much water and food I feel like I'd need to consume.
